Courtesy of Yahoo Movies, Marvel has released the first official image of Chris Hemsworth (Papa Kirk in "Star Trek") as the Norse-god Thor.
"Thor" is part of Marvel Studios' plan to tie all their movies together into a single, shared universe that started with 2008's "Iron Man."
The movie costume is pretty accurate with the current iteration of Thor in the comics, although some people online have derided it as looking "too rubbery."
I for one like the look of the costume, despite the MySpace-profile styled picture, and I don't think people should judge what the costume looks like until Marvel releases some actual footage.
