First look at 'Green Lantern' movie

Check out Entertainment Tonight's preview of a preview of Green Lantern. According to /Film.com the movie's full trailer will be attached to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 on Nov. 19, but ET will debut it beforehand on Nov. 16.

The preview of the preview and some thoughts I have are after the jump.

I'm still not sure if it was a wise choice by Warner Bros. to have the Green Lantern suit all in CG but since they movie won't be released until June, 2011 they have a few months to fine tune it. We get a good look at Ryan Reynolds playing an extremely cocky Hal Jordan interacting with Blake Lively as Carol Ferris and Taika Waititi as Thomas Kalmaku.

So far what little footage there is of Reynolds as Jordan doesn't cause much concern but I'm still hesitant of Lively playing Ferris.

According to the always reliable Wikipedia, Reynolds is 34 while  Lively is 23. The age difference is pretty worrisome when you consider the fact that the character she's playing is suppose to be the CEO of an aircraft company, an experience pilot and at least relatively the same age as Jordan.

And compared to Reynolds, she doesn't have that much acting experience. But who knows, when the movie comes out she may surprise me.

Green Lantern, directed by Martin Campbell and also starring Mark Strong as Sinestro, will be released on June 17, 2011.
